Ageratec is incorporating the AGP “Advanced Glycerol Pretreatment” into the product portfolio, enabling Biodiesel production from raw materials with FFA ranging from .1% to 100%. This reinforces Ageratec´s leading position on flexible multi feedstock Biodiesel solutions.
The AGP process is unique on the market and allows Ageratec to offer Biodiesel solutions for high FFA feedstock such as palm fatty acid distillate (PFAD), soy oil fatty acid (SOFA), brown grease, animal fats with high FFA including risk class 1 animal fat and other high FFA raw materials.
The new Ageratec pre-treatment follows the established design of Ageratec´s PE24000 Biodiesel processors and is made available as complete PG24000 Biodiesel plants or as a standalone front end G24000 pre-treatment. The previous scalability of Ageratec plants remains unchanged allowing multiple PG or G 24000 to be combined in Multi Link for higher processing capacity.
The new process was first presented at the PIPOC , Palm Oil International Palm Oil Congress, in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia in November 9-12th 2009 for vertical integration of PFAD Biodiesel production at Asian Palm Oil Refinery´s (depicted). 2010 February 7-10th Ageratec exhibited at the NBB, National Biodiesel Board Conference in Dallas Texas USA, where the new process puts profit back into the equation with Biodiesel production from inedible feedstock, making Greenfield or Brownfield Biodiesel plants feasible again.
Like any Ageratec process it is prefabricated, skid mounted and tested with high quality components to ensure a long lifecycle and minimum downtime. For inquiries, please contact Ageratec’s sales sales.dept@ageratec.com
